DEAR COUSINS,

  • Welcome to Chromosome Mapping of Ancient Bloodlines. On this website you can learn how to do chromosome mapping by end location numbers from chromosome tables which is considered a statistical and scientific analysis.
  • End location numbers on chromosome tables have been found to match surnames as small as 1cM and 500 SNPS allowing us to map out ancient bloodlines. Familytreedna.com Family Finder is used to do this.
  •
  • Our database contains hundreds of surnames and thousands of entries, allowing you to find information in seconds. To see how many surnames, we have mapped out using this method, just click on the “Surname List” page.
  •
  • By mapping out end location numbers to surnames, it’s possible to map out the trail of your ancestors. End location numbers have been found to be relevant to Haplogroups and surnames corresponding to YDNA groups. An end location number can have many different surnames attached to it just like a haplogroup, terminal snip or subclade, but give you far more results.
  •
  • It is also possible to map out ancient bloodlines that have become extinct depending on how far back the line is, how many descendants married cousins in the same line and how many people with those same ancestors show up as matches on family finder who have listed them either in a gedcom or surname list.
  •
  • Finding end location numbers relevant to a surname can help sort out ancestors with the same name; who are not biologically related or sort out ancestors with the same surname who you are not sure if you are related.
  •
  • We are growing exponentially and learning new things every day, including finding new patterns. Come join us and be a part of helping to map out humanity. “We all, are connected”.

WHAT IS THE CHROMOSOME MAPPING PROJECT?

The Chromosome Mapping Project is a collaborative project that teaches visitors and members how to do chromosome mapping by end location number (a discovery made by Wanda Marie Pierce (2016). It has been developed into a process, tested by members and organized into a member only database. The benefit of mapping surnames to end location numbers is it can allow you to map out the DNA of your ancestor by a specific number and help you find their migration path autosomally. Something that has never been done before.

This discovery (Chromosome Mapping by End Location Number (Pierce 2016) is a computer algorithm or process that allows you to find your ancestors by mapping them out by surname = end location number. In other words, you can find all the other people you are related to by a very specific end location number. This can be very helpful, especially when a lack of records or information is missing, and you hit a brick wall.

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO THIS?

Before you join this site, it would be best to already be a member of www.familytreedna.com and to have an autosomal DNA kit.  To date, it is the best DNA company that works with chromosome mapping because it has both chromosome tables and an intuitive surname search program that allows surname mapping by end location numbers.

Recommended: A DNA Kit for at least one family member, preferably one male and one female.

A gedcom or family tree resource. We use geni.com because it is the fastest way to find a common ancestor (the person or persons who passed a DNA segment down to you and your match).

DNA Kits vary by company and what they offer.  Currently, DNA companies use different algorithms and do not match each other.  Ancestry DNA has no chromosome browser so you cannot do this with ancestry.

Other DNA companies focus on your DNA health problems rather than helping you find your ancestors so they may not have the SNIP information that you need to get accurate results.

New DNA companies just don’t have enough members to be helpful.

Currently Gedmatch is the only company that has updated their algorithm so that you can get comparative matching results, but they lack a surname matching tool and the comparison value has to be manually mapped and can only be done if the same exact people are on Gedmatch and FTDNA.

To find the maximum number of ancestors, you will need an autosomal DNA kit called family finder, sold by familytreedna.com.  It is the least expensive and if you wait for a holiday, you can almost always count on a sale.

BASIC INFORMATION ABOUT DNA INHERITANCE

After you have your tools (family tree DNA kit, gedcom or names of your ancestors and an excel spreadsheet software program), it’s time to learn how to map out your ancestors and see if you have a few Kings in your tree after all. Before we do that, lets take a look at some basic information on this page:
